Will peahens go broody with first egg?

I have Indiana blue peafowl. 3 girls 1 boy. They all turned a year old today and one of them laid an egg! I wish to hatch it. They live in a greenhouse with edits just for them. There are no nesting boxes. The egg is just on the floor. Will she hatch it on her own?

I know, like, nothing about peafowl, but neither my ducks nor chickens will hatch an egg unless they are broody. If peahens are like others, they won't either.

What ended up happening with the egg?

Fantastic! They are beautiful birds. I'd thought about getting a pair, but hubby said NO. 🙁

Actually 3 eggs now! And can’t wait for the hatch!

I heard that they aren't actually old enough to reproduce until about 2 years old
