Will she ever lay?

I have a barnevelder hen that will be a year old in a couple of weeks. She has never laid an egg. I got several hens at the same time, all are laying except her and have been for about 6 months. I was being patient through the winter thinking it could be lack of enough light but it seems like that shouldn't be a problem now. Is there still hope or should I give up on her laying?. Thanks in advance.

I once had a pullet who didn't start laying until 11 months. Then there was no stopping her! Anything is possible with chickens so I wouldn't give up hope. However there is a chance she is having trouble laying and could be internal laying.

Welcome to BYC! @Lacewood ...sorry you are having troubles.
She could just be a late layer.

Would be good to give her an exam to rule out ...check her vent and pelvis for spacing,
and her belly(from just under vent to down between legs) for any swelling.
