Actually that's a temporary waterer and I have to change it out twice a day. I'm making a nipple waterer out of a 5 gallon bucket. I have 9 grown chickens and they drink a lot of water!

I am thinking of making mine so there's a "T" connector & a 90 degree fitting through the fencing - then invert a filled 2-liter bottle (bungee the bottle to fence)

I won't have to go in the run to fill their bottles. And I'll keep a rotating supply of bottles available.

You have your suction (air tight) bottle flowing into pvc tubing running out both sides of the T (and of course holes drilled in so they can drink.)

I actually JUST thought of this - amended versions from what I saw earlier in this thread.

Is there anybody out there who would know if this would/or would not work? Please email me ASAP.

Let me know how your nipple waterer works out! It seems super convenient and I would love to add that to our setup someday soon!

I have no idea if it would work, but if it does let me know and Id LOVE to see pictures...This sure sounds like a GREAT idea.

Well thank you.
I'm off to the store tomorrow for the pvc pieces - oh & I'll have to drink 2 liters of soda (for the bottle).

I will take a picture of it (if it works well) if it doesn't I will post the reason why.
