will the chicks be splash?

could I get splash from this icelandic pair ?

It's a bit hard to see but is that a splash and a blue? If so you will get about 1/2 splash and 1/2 blue.
I think the hen is blue mottled and the rooster is blue, but not sure, I guess I just have to try it and find out later
 
A "mottled blue" would be probably be splash. I just always worry about genes like exchequer and barred and laced colors. BBS is a simple partial dominant gene. Like two switches for light bulbs. Both lights off it's dark in the room (Black chicken) turn one light on one off it's dim (blue chicken), both lights on it's bright (spalsh chicken). Each parent passes one gene down at random.

So you have a blue (One on one off) and a splash (both on) the chicks are going to get one on switch from splash and either an on or an off switch from the blue.

Black interacts with the other two similarly. Hope this helps!
