will the cornishX rocks

will the cornish rock X hen lay eggs? has any one keepd them that long, what age if they do lay?

We have one that a friend "rescued". She is 1 yr old and started laying at about 20 weeks. We have many chicks from her but she is starting to have a hard time getting around so she will be going in the freezer soon.
