No Helmeted Guinea Fowl have neon blue heads, they have naked featherless necks and heads with a casque on top... you must be thinking of the Vulturine variety.

Mine get a blue coloring to the skin under their throat area certain times of the year but I have no clue what "neon blue heads" you guys are talking about. Even on my blues and lavenders I've never seen anything like that before, lol.

This is our ginni male, his head stays blue like this all the time, not just now and then under the skin like someone said before in a previous reply.
