I recently made a purchase from Cackle Hatchery. I have never raised chickens, but have lived on a dairy farm for many years. The chicks are as follows:

    Rhode Island Red
    White Rock
    German Spitzhauben
    Turken
    Silver Laced Wyandotte

My question is, will these 5 breeds get along, or will I have troubles brewing. Cackle said they would get along, but I called McMurray hatchery and they said that the other chickens may pick on the German Spitzhauben because of is head crest. I just don’t want to have my birds not get along.

The RIR might end up being the dominant one, just b/c of size and attitude. They should be OK, though. Watch for signs of abuse on the big-crested one, though.
