Will they ever start?

These girls obviously aren't as old as I originally thought they were, but dang, they HAVE to start laying soon! Lol can anyone tell me how close they are? The Sapphire gems were bought the same day from the farm store but the rir's were bought about a week later.

With days shortening for fall, it'll likely take them longer to reach point of lay than if they were maturing in spring or summer. They will get there... once you've given up on ever getting an egg and have started thinking about roasted chicken dinners instead. ;)
