Thinking of getting some chickens this spring , have been researching, breeds, chickens and everything I can read or get my hands on.
Quick question....
Will Favoralles and Wyandottes get along?
Thanks for your help

Favoralles tend to be more submissive and lower on the pecking order, but I’m sure they could get along with Wyandottes. It helps when they’re raised together, so that there’s no integration issues.

I have a very mixed flock with all different sizes, but they get along! There’s a spat or sharp peck every now and then but that should be expected in any flock.

I have 7 different breeds from 9 months to 2 years old. They establish pecking order and for the most part get along. Younger ones know to stay away from areas older ladies are eating from. If they are all the same age it shouldnt be an issue.

I have a mixed flock of twelve pullets (hatched in May). I have two silver laced wyandottes and one salmon favorelles. Thus far, they all get along fine, no problems. They were all raised together.
