Will they mate and become a pair?

Hey everybody I recently lost my fantail male and was thinking about buying another male for my female. If I buy another female, will they bond and form a pair? Because i heard somewhere that they stay together for life or something but am not sure. Thanks.

Yeah they should become a pair. They do mate for life but if their mate dies they will find a new one.

If you get another hen she will mate with the cock. Stick two hens together and eventually they will mate and lay four sterile eggs in the nest. Pigeons pair up for life but not always, in any case it only takes a week for pigeons to pair up. hope this helps...
