Will they survive? :(

Did you pay $8.50 a chick plus $40 shipping or has that price went up this year?

I believe $8.50 but since we got the big "bulk" deal, they may have ranged from $7.50 to $8.50 a piece (I didn't do the purchasing), depending on which kinds; I think shipping for approximately $50-$60 since I believe we did expressed shipment.

I have a order in with Meyers they are selling them for the first time this year. They are selling them for 3.88 for straight run, 4.20 for fem. and 3.60 for males. when I get my chicks I will post online. Is anyone else waiting on these?

I was just wondering if Paul's Poultry came through or not? I am currently looking at Paul's to get some BLRW. How are your chicks doing little_grey_bantam? And do you know of any other places to buy good quality BLRW? Any information would be great. Hope your chicks are doing better.

I just rec'd my very first order of chicks from Meyer this am. The Post Office called at 5:30am! All are very healthy and strong (or so it appears). Meyers has a 48 hour live bird guarantee, I would assume mose poulty shippers have something comparable to that.

you got blue lace red wyandottes from them? I order all my chicks from them seeings how I live down road. One of the girls said orders on BLRW are long wait. Its okay though I have 10 chickies in brooder and 24 in bator with hatch date of the 7th

Curious too how the chicks are doing now? How did things work out with Jesse Paul?

Hello little grey,
I would have loved to recieve a phone call or an email regarding this issue. Our name and reputation is everything to us. I wish I knew your name. Anyways let me try and sift though your concerns.
You wrote
"Well, we purchased 30 Wyandotte chicks from Paul's Poultry and they didn't have a good trip 2 were DOA... and another 7 have passed away within 1-2 days... and now I have 2 that are on the verge!"
We never sell more than 24 to 25 chicks at a time. So that would mean that you either received 5 or 6 birds for FREE!!

"They were all poopy butt so I had to clean them up"
Where they poopy butt when you picked them up out of the box?? If they where I would like to have known.

"You think Paul's Poultry will help refund? We're down to 20 chicks if these two die Only 3 days!"
We will gladly credit you for 4 to six birds, just give me a call.

"And he kinda sorta got our stuff mixed up. We wanted at as many BLRW as possible and somehow thought we'd manage to figure out at least 12-15 and 12-15 of whatever he had left... well, we only got 3 BLRW :-/ Bah!"
Once again I wish I knew who you where or would address your concerns with us directly. I'm sure that I could find a paypal invoice detailing exactly what varieties you where billed for. Give me a call.
If you are from Russell we did sell you 25blue laced red Wyandottes. You will see as they grow out that they are all blue laced reds. Blue/black and splash check this link out http://bluelacedred.com/blue black and splash.html Will you check this forum thread 4 months from now and give us an update??

"Scared to complain though BF doesn't want to bother him since he was so nice!"
I still am nice. Give me a call.

"I think shipping for approximately $50-$60 since I believe we did expressed shipment"
Express mail service is the only way we ship. We have a flat rate fee of $45.00 for shipping. Up to $15.00 less than what you just said.

I would like to stress that it is important to us that your expierence with Paul's poultry was first rate. If for any reason you are not happy give us a call. It is always better to try and seek out a solution before posting coments that might be taken the wrong way.
Thanks again for your buisness,
Jesse Paul
P.S. give me a call

Its good to know Pauls Poultry is willing to work with you. Had they not have come on here to stand by their name, others might not have ordered from them. Let this be a lesson to all of us. Ask first, complain after no answer. Good Job Pauls Poultry.

Awesome! Paul's Poultry is a "stand up" business! I was a little concerned after this...but I will definitely buy from them, when I can afford it:) It's great to know that they care. Thank you Jesse Paul!
