Can someone recommend a particular product? Even the b complex supplements at Walmart only have 25 mg niacin per tablet!?!I don't think those have enough niacin.![]()
I had it on hand from a sick chicken I’ve been treating. The brewers yeast people keep recommending only has 2.5 mg of niacin per 2 TABLESPOONS I thought they needed 125-150 mg niacin daily? How does anyone give that amount? The best choice is the B complex that way your givng in order they need not just B12. @CayugaJana mentioned B12 was the feel good vitamin but they need a whole B's especially the niacin .. Those little legs will thank you! if you just bought this stuff you showed take it back and say you want to exchange.
Thank you so much! Headed to TSC todayHere ya go https://www.backyardchickens.com/th...s-niacin-riboflavin-deficiency.1228833/page-3 One pic is from TSC and the other is from Walmart both liquid
Do I add to the water or give directly via mouth and how much? The injectable has an alcohol in it so it’s going to taste terrible if given orally.I don't know how it gets broken down maybe @casportpony can help she is a math wizI know @CayugaJana has Pekins and she started them all on the complex I believe just about all had leg issues and after being on the TSC complex since she was treating quite a few their leg issues cleared right up..
