Will this work for niacin for ducklings?

I had it on hand from a sick chicken I’ve been treating. The brewers yeast people keep recommending only has 2.5 mg of niacin per 2 TABLESPOONS I thought they needed 125-150 mg niacin daily? How does anyone give that amount?
I think it depends on the product. The goal is to feed them a food that has at least 55 mg per 2.2 pounds. Chick feed might have 35 mg per 2.2 pounds, but don't quote me on that.

So the mad scientist in me thinks you need to add 25 mg niacin per 2.2 pounds of feed (I rounded up).

I just weighed out 2.2 pounds of feed and it's pretty close to 6 cups. 25 mg / 6 cups = 4.2 mg per cup needed.

Yes Miss Lydia is right. I give 1 mL per day per duck when they are having problems. If I give it with peas or mealworms, I have no issues. But casportpony prefers to syringe it directly down the throat (she has special instructions on that) so she knows exactly how much each bird is getting.

Yeah, I'm funny that way, lol.

Thanks casportpony for the break down. It’s easy to see with this math how the really heavy breeds can quickly become deficient with their weight and rapid growth.
