I was thinking why, I've let my german modena pair out to range with my brothers four rollers a few times, and they stay separated, they don't even hang out together, Is this just coincidence? or is having a flying and non-flying breed what's helping them stay to themselves? Also, I read that german modenas were developed for kit flying, does anyone still fly them? or are they just bred to show now?
And logan, that would be the best thing to do, but I want to let my birds free fly. I'm not interested in showing, or having really high quality birds, so if I lose a couple then I'd be fine with that, just want pure young so that I can still have the breeds that I like, and hopefully sell the extras to help pay for the keeping of the birds.
thanks
