I posted a few weeks ago for guesses on the breed of my "buff orps" that I bought off a crazy man in a dirty house.

Now that they're a bit older, I thought I'd solicit more opinions regarding their breed and genders.

Approximately 4 1/2 week old "buff orps" per the man

This little cutie is about 3 weeks old from TSC. It was to be either an amberlink or .... I can't remember what else was in that bin.

Not sure about the others, but your buff orps (they do look like BOs, but I'm not good at IDing breeds) are probably roos. Big, red combs....much bigger than a pullet's comb would be at 4.5 weeks.

The first 3 are Boys. The last picture of the Buff Pictures is definately not a pure Buff Orpington. Too much brown in the feathers. I can't see its head, so not sure on the sex.

If the white ones are sexlinks, then you picked the wrong color. The mostly white ones are the Roosters. The reddish with white undertone are the girls.

the others look just like my amberlinks, except the bottom pic which looks like my golden comet(red sex link pullet
)

Yeah, I was pretty sure those big ones were roos. I'm willing to keep 1 but I need to find homes for the others. I'm hoping there are only 3 but figure out of 10 there may be more. So far though those are the 3 who are developing more quickly with bigger, redder combs. Thanks for chiming in!
