My Astroplops were good layers..... the only problem was they plopped 'em all over the place.

Okay, here is one I did:


I was at the drive-thru at KFC and was going to pick up some chicken livers

for my hubby.

Well I read 'chicken livers' and 'chicken gizzards' on the menu board and proceded to order

"a pint of chicken lizzards, please" !!!!

I could hear everyone in KFC laughing.

I went on craigslist yesterday I am hoping to find someone with an incubator around me....anyways I see a post for laying chickens for sale so I click on it. The page opens up and it says " I have two very nice roosters that every now and then you have to put in line but they will give you beautiful eggs. I need to down size my flock and these wonderful roos will give you as many eggs as you want."

I started laughing. I don't know if they ment hens or if they think that you need roos for hens to lay more eggs, I don't know.

The following ad was posted on CL 2 days ago (I have been slackin)

Coachin chickens, two hens and one male. This is there first year of laying and they just started. These three chickens must be sold together. $6.00 per bird.

For some strange reason I picture a cochin with the coach logo on it somewhere....

I haven't seen any true gems in awhile, but this one caught my eye today:

Buff Orphan chickens - $40 (Clover SC)

selling my buff orphan chickens have 2 hens and a rooster 1 hen laying and the other should start any time $40 cash only also have some chicks that are almost 2 weeks old for $2 each
have 3 buffs and the rest are black sex links you must bring something to put them in. I live in Clover

I wonder if they're not able to sell these birds, if they'll be true Orphans? Maybe they can go to the Orpinage.
