Wing Bands?

My husband picked up wing instead of leg bands the last time he picked up bands, and I've never used them before. They are small bands, I'm just wondering how old the quail should be before putting them on. Are we talking full grown? I have buttons, Pharaoh, and some A+M due to hatch over the next couple days.

Obviously they will have to be big enough that the bands wont slip off. Usually feathered out too. In my experience they will most likely be way too big for your buttons, depending on the bird and band size possibly too big for all of them.

I wouldn't use the for buttons. They are pretty big and can cause balance problem during mating which can affect fertility. I've never used them on my coturnix so I'm really not too sure for them.
