Wing clipping on babies????

I hope this is the right forum::

I have a 4 week old Polish who is very flighty. She will try to fly off every little chance she gets. She is completely feathered out. Is it ok to clip her wings? Is she too young?
How do you clip wings?

Clip just the flight feathers on one wing only. Do it in the evening after they've roosted. My DH and I do it together. I catch them. He holds them upside down by the feet. I quickly clip one wing, turn her upright and set her gently back on her roost before she has a chance to get upset. I got a headlamp so I will have botjh hands free. Works great. You don't want to chase them in the heat of the day, they can die.
