Wing clipping?

Herbandteas let me know how it worked for you. It sure did the trick on mine. Did you clip one or both wings? You did the same as I did..hubby held the wing while I cut...he was to scared he was going to hurt the bird

If you have to clip the wing feathers, do not butcher the poor bird. I got some birds with clipped wing feathers once and they really had big molting problems. The clipped wing feathers did not fall out and needed some assistance.

But here is how to do it right: use sharp shears and cut of the first ten flight feathers of just one wing. It causes the bird to lack the balance needed to fly.
