Yes! All 8 babies are happy and healthy! I'll take some updated pics this weekend. They're feathering so much faster than last year's brood. I can't help but think it's because they're outside with no heat lamp (using MHP) so they're getting a more natural light and fluctuating temperatures.

Here's an update for the babies. They're going through their ugly phase but still pretty dang cute. 3.5 weeks old. It took a while but they no longer freak out every time I open the brooder and they're now eating out of my hand.

This is a Blue Copper Marans. I have 2.

This is a Mystic Olive Egger. I have 4.

This is a 'mint' Olive Egger. I have 2.

So the "mystic" Olive Eggers... one is developing a crest. Adorable! So I could be wrong but I think the mix is Black Copper Marans rooster and CCL hen. That would explain the feathered feet and the crest.

The reason I think BCM rooster instead of CCL rooster is because they're black and not barred. Am I correct?...
