When should I toss the clear one? I've read horror stories that bad eggs can explode under the broody and ruin the hatch. Today is Day 12.

Also, another newbie question... did it seem like some were more developed than others? One of those eggs looked completely full! Normal?

They only explode if they have been contaminated by bacteria, so whenever you think about it or next time you candle. As far as development goes, depending on how they are positioned in the egg at the time of candling can make them look different than other eggs. Take pics again next weekend (lockdown) when you candle, you'll know for sure if any quit.

Thanks! I honestly wasn't going to candle again. Figured I'd just let nature take its course but if you think I should, I will.

How will I know for sure if they quit...?

Edit: disregard! I think I found some good examples. I'll take more pictures next weekend, of course.

It's totally up to you if you want to candle or not, I don't see any harm either way😊 Veining is a dead giveaway, once veins start to receed or disappear the chick has quit, also often times the embryo will seem to float around the egg when you tilt it and is just a black blob (best way I can think to describe it).
