Well... I FINALLY went to go pick up these boys. Unfortunately when I showed up at 8am (at her request) she told me that they had white discharge for their nose. I inspected them and they were shivering and coughing. When I mentioned the cough, she said "oh all my goats have been doing that because we had such a dry, dusty summer." Ummm.....Here are the boys. It's not guaranteed yet but I already have names picked out. They will be helping me clear land so the names are appropriate!
This will be John Deere (JD for short)

The place was a disaster. It smelled bad and she was obviously not taking very good care of her animals. She's a full time nurse and not only was her property and animals dirty, honestly she was pretty unkempt too.
I appreciated her honesty telling me they were sick and she's actually the one who made the decision to keep them until they're better. Problem is... I feel bad for these boys but I'm really not comfortable taking them now that I've seen them and the condition of the environment. Daisy and Maggie may be pregnant and the idea of bringing in sick goats is a no go even with quarantine.
She banded these boys to make them wethers specifically for me so I'm not sure how to break it to her that I'm not going to buy them.
I'm just so sad for the animals.
