@wrathsfarm and @Auntiejessi3 I found a lady nearby that has BCM hatching eggs. Keep in mind I'm not planning on doing a breeding program, these are just for me so they don't have to be SOP. They look healthy to me. Do you agree?

Edited to add: I asked specifically about the rooster's temperament and she said hes the nicest rooster she's had. She also breeds silkies and says they're terrors in comparison lol.
Yes, they do look clean and healthy. And a good temperament is a huge plus.
I love my boys for the great temperament.

They are nice looking birds. A few extra chicks never hurt anyone 😉
 
Just the one broody now. She's been the most determined. She's a small girl and pretty low on the pecking order. Here's a pic to show size. I hope she'll be a good mom.

How many eggs should I put under her..?

Talk to the person and ask how their fertility has been, folks like @wrathsfarm and myself keep track of these things (even with people who have purchased hatching eggs when possible) so we know what we're working with. 6 eggs should be a good start for a first time broody if fertility is high.
