Wing sexing... Yes I know it's not accurate...but?

So I am well aware most people say wing feathers sexing isn't accurate. One of the questions I have is about the difference in the single row of feathers or the double row of feathers. I have some smaller chicks that had the double row of feathers coming in but most have the single row... Which is supposedly the males.

I've never looked at this before with chicks. Do the males also get the double set of feathers eventually? It's just slower? Is that why all the websites and videos say the single row of wing feathers are male?

For example the females supposedly look like this pattern IiIiIi and the males look like IIIIII. I will attach some of the pictures from my chicks.

Do the "males" never grow in that extra set of wing feathers? Or the "females" just get them faster?

What breeds? Only certain breeds can be wing sexed and sometimes that's not always accurate. In some breeds the females feather faster than the males. I guess keep track and see if your hunches are correct or not.

Mine are Delaware x Delaware and Delaware x Golden Laced Wyandotte. Rooster is Delaware and my Wyandottes and Delawares are the hens.

I've made my guesses based on this non accurate information and I will wait to see what happens. My hens were fast feathering and my roo was painfully slow to feather. This makes the chicks absolutely not the correct mix with parents to be wing sexed correctly. I am just interested in the "why" of this method. If males never got that second set of feathers then it would never be wrong.
