Is that that one you were gonna name Opal?

No, Opal is the mute black one. I decided on Opalstone for him, thanks so much for your suggestions. Gildedwing's name was already chosen for him before Opal's and I'm pretty proud of it, considering I had name block at the time...

she sigh, and had a look of worry "reddeath, bring out the toy sack" she looks at the leader "to keep the chick out from being underfoot" she said kindly

A little chick peeked out from under the same white hen, who was just finishing her crying. The young one looked confused, cocking her head and scanning the room with her eyes.

Reddeath comes over, and hands her/him a small ball made of leather and stuff with leafs

"Wow, what's happened here?" Bloodfeather asked no bird in particular. Olivepaw crowded around him, whispering something in his ear. Dewcloud and Skychick stood by themselves a ways away/

Gem's brow furrowed, "I don't know, this is, was the clan I believe."

After several moments, Rose was able to stand. She surveyed the damage on wobbly legs, looking for signs of life.

It's not bad, there are only a couple of half drowned birds, others injured, and others lost. It's nothing to be afraid of!
