"But I will help you find those berries," dramatically he rose to his feet, wobbling slightly but as his legs were unharmed, it was only the blood loss that hindered his movement. With a smile, he took a step towards Scarletnight, almost cracking his head against the lower part of the den ceiling. "Do you mind?" he leaned against her for support as he set his sights on the outdoors.

Naturally Silver fell and cracked her head a few times on the ground due to the fact that Puff's virulent, manly strength was utterly illusory. "Oh, Puff, I've always admired you, even though you've almost strangled me with your fluff on many occasions!" Comfortably she laid her head against his shoulder, wondering how a silkie could be carrying a long-legged leghorn. "But you know what? You're the most handsome, strongest rooster I know!"
