Silver shook out her feathers, dispelling some of the moisture but still uncomfortably wet. "Thanks, Jayflight," her beak chattered as she tried to smile. "I'm f-fine." She fixed the water with a beady glare. "Never again . . ." she muttered.

"No problem" Jayflight smiled. "Aslo water aint to bad" and at that he flew several feet over the stream ,and plopped down ,right in the middle of the stream. He then started to swim around like a duck. "Not to bad at all" added ,as an afternote.

(I've seen Leghorn/Silkie crosses before, they're cute! Smooth-feathered, partially-crested, floppy mulberry-colored comb)

It took a moment for Silver to shut her gaping beak. "You can take my share," she backed away a few steps for good measure. "How did you learn to swim like that?"
