The furthest I've moved is about directly on the other side of the world. You could probably stick a skewer through where I live now and where I used to live.

As far as I can remember we have always lived near water, whether it was the ocean, river or creek.
I really miss the ocean, haven't seen it 4 years, and then only from a window.

I never used to see the ocean. WE'd try to get there once a year when the weather got nicer, but the motorways would be SOOO clogged with similar-minded people we'd only get two or three hours there before we had to head back

WE spent more time on the road than the beach.

Yeah, I guess moving is hard - I've moved around different countries. It gets easier as you settle in though. I've never had the friends here I used to have, who were awesome, but I've found some great people all the same.

The worst part is, most people at my school aren't a thing like anyone at my old one. Most are preppy, judgemental, and won't talk to you unless you're pretty much a clone of them.

My chickens would have loved the old yard too, I didn't have them yet...I was still studying...

My chickens would've had nowhere to go in my old yard. It's perfect for them here, and back there we probably would've found them upended in the winter, frozen stiff
