Wildheart sat preening by the river, his favorite thinking-place, something clearly on his mind again. He heard quiet footsteps of the hen approaching from behind; Rosedapple. He shifted his golden gaze to her, his tall comb wobbling precariously with the gentle breeze, and a smile touched his cheeks. "Good morning," he greeted.
