She had watched them leave, Red, Starry, the kits, all of them. She had come back just once, to check, to make sure the new star had taken to his position. Wc was well, many new young members, it would grow stronger quickly. Eagle would lead them to their new home, and if all went well, they would stay there till the end of the clans.

She walked out towards the sleeping tree, the emptiness of it all eerie and disturbing, that was until she saw the white shape on the water. The swan came to shore, the moonlight shining down on his snow white feathers.

"Moon?" he asked as he neared her.
"Goose" she laughed
"Yes, it is" he shook his head, a half smile on his face, "I am a swan, Featherhead"
"And there's a difference?"
"Yes, but I do not feeling like discussing it with you, featherheads are so dense at times"
"I know, anyways, how are you 'swan?"
"I am well, as far as I know, all are well"
"That is good, I knew they would be"
"Where will you be heading?"
"I do not know exactly, you?"
"I will probably go back to the lake where my love sleeps, I am to old to go galloping through the woods with such featherheads, besides, without a lake or a river I could not exist." His face changed, a look of sadness, "It has been long since last I saw her, maybe we shall meet again"
"Swan, take things one at time, you will meet again, do not rush. She would say the same, she can wait"

The two shapes sat by the river, a large swan and small hen, illuminated by the moon.

Eaglestar walked through the lush green, a sense of almost uneasiness with being away from the home he'd spent so much time in. Now was certainly not the time to change his mind, though. He trudged with the others through the tall, swaying grasses and the wildflowers, he slowed to a halt as the grass was becoming more sparse, and shorter around them. Quiet, peaceful forest surrounded them from all angles, the sound of rushing water nearby, and the sweet chattering of songbirds before their sleep, lulled the warriors like a lullaby, easing their stressors and making it effortless to settle into the unfamiliar environment. A doe and her foal watched them with curious, chocolate-brown eyes as they nibbled on their last meal for the evening. "Here we are," he declared, taking in a breath of what seemed to be fresher air, "Let's make our border."

Thanks! *sniff* If i could i would send a kit over to kidnap moonstar and bring her back with us, and the swan too, we could divert upwards and underground stream for the swan, and possible a whole elders den all for Moonstar, but i know you wouldn't let me-
