Cloudpuff, still slightly intoxicated from the berry juice, tried to coordinate his movements. "What is it?" he said, his eyes clouded with anxiety.
The beeping steadily grew faster.

(I don't want him to die either. I only just started RPing!)

Cloudpuff let himself float on the wind. He had been enjoying a quiet nap! Why was peace always disrupted around here?

The device blew up in a climax of beeps. It sent Grayphoenix and Cloudpuff through the air until they hit a tree, knocking them both out and sending shrapnel into their bodies.

(They're not dead yet. I hope.)

Cloudpuff opened one eye. The other seemed to be bleeding. "Ow, guess i copped the brunt of that."

Pieces of debris rained down around them. Cloud looked back towards the explosion site and saw there was a mine. Someone wanted to mine the WC land.
