Cloudpuff looked around groggily. "We safe now?" he slurred. He couldn't get his face muscles to work very well. His body seemed to be mostly intact though.

The debris finally came to a stop, the last piece being a large log that skidded through the med den entrance. There was silence, and Cloudpuff felt his ears ringing.

(A bomb went off near where they were berry-picking, and they're both injured and embedded with shrapnel.)

Cloudpuff saw that Gray had fainted. "Phoenix?" he said, trying to push her awake. He, too, collapsed soon afterwards.

Cloudpuff could hardly see, his face was so plastered with blood. He was coming around, and the blood was drying. "Anyone there? Unnnnngh..."

Tyson walked in the den horrified and began picking pieces of metal out of the two birds then packing their wounds with moss and wrapped them with spiderwebs and grass.
