Yes, it is indeed epic, and what makes it even more epic is that we've thouroughly discussed fighting logistics and are all fighting nice and fair!

It's nice not to have limbs and heads flaying about.

Not really. Ribs are still being broken, but not nearly as many as before. Better is better, I suppose.

It's nice having you back, how is life on your end anywho?

(Just wait until I bring in some Highlander chickens . . .

Life's been, well, life. One of my chickens needed a lot of attention this week (had worms, needed antibiotics, and had crop problems). And I think I might have a rooster in my newest batch of chicks

How about you?

Hola, Gerbil!

How've you been?

Good!
Sorry about your roo!

We have 7-8 outta 10 roos hatch. Bummed beyond words, they were going to be our new laying flock.

(Ooh! Ooh!

So sorry about your chicken, Blue. It's always so stressful when that happens. Make sure you give it electrolytes and let it forage for some good vitamin-rich foods to help him/her recover.

Mine's been fine, not terribly exciting, although monotony is sometimes a very good thing.

Oh man! I'm sorry, Gerbil, I can't imagine having that many roos at one time. Are you planning on selling them?

(I'm not giving up on the "rooster" being a girl yet. They were guaranteed to be "100% female". Maybe

Give them away most likely.

We had two "100%" hen roosters.
