"Thank you for the business," Icetalon fixed them with a beady, intelligent eye, and gathered up the new supplies garnered from Scarletnight.

"Not even a goodbye kiss?" Bloodwing grumbled sadly, drooping his wings and tail, looking completely dejected.

"When squirrels fly." Icetalon shot from the den, her voice oddly stretched and echoed.

"All right, let's go," he laughed, ready to follow Scarlet. When they were on the edge, he looked back over SilverCreek one more time, tempted to stick out his tongue in the direction of the medicine den.
