He took the cup in his beak, then turned and bolted out the door without a word, hurrying to the stream. Parting the cattails, he trudged to the shore, dunking the cup into the water to fill it. He then pushed gently through the cattails and weed, going at a fairly quick, yet careful pace as to not spill the water. He eventually arrived at the den with a full cup, passing it to Willow.

She poured it gently over the wounds to wash any debris off, then she took some marigold and chewed it into a pulp which she spread over the wounds. She grabbed some horsetail and mixed it with the cobwebs to place over top, forminga sealed barrier between the wound and the air. "There" She said, standing back

( erm, may i object to you're methods? if the wound doesn't have air, any anaerobic bacteria that hasn't been washed or killed will develop and give him an infection. Just mentioning...

The white hen shook her head "Sloppy..I could of stitched that right up with ease. Especially since it was a straight cut" she baffled to herself. The little silverlaced just looked on.
