That's fine, no need to apologize. It's been abnormally busy on the RPs today.
"Heh," he uttered, an attempt at a chuckle, but the situation proved too uncomfortable for him to laugh and shrug things off like he normally would. "Well, I'm glad that you're okay. It sounded pretty bad."
There was a long pause, Wildheart briefly shuffling his toes out of uneasiness.
"Well!" he said, breaking the awkward silence, "I should probably-- go take care of those berries. I kind of... dropped them and..." he stammered, his voice trailing off. "See you later," he said, turning to leave for the food pile. His long sickle feathers lightly brushed Silver as he briskly turned. He took a moment to inconspicuously glance back at her and then walked to the pile to sweep up the dropped berries with his flight feathers.
"Yes, that's---that's good! The berries shouldn't be left lying there---like that," immediately Silvermist felt like an idiot, but smiled broadly to try and hide her further embarrassment. "Yes, I'll see you later," her yellow eyes reflected her heartfelt shame as Wildheart turned and began to pick up the berries. She was a warrior of Wingclan, she shouldn't be acting like this! She was an embarrassment to the warrior code if she couldn't even carry on an intelligent conversation with a clanmate without getting tongue-tied and blushing every other second. With a weary sigh, she pushed her un-eaten nuts back into the pile, suddenly not very hungry anymore. Compulsively she set off for the stream, longing to sit in the shade of one of the trees and think things out.
