A land where everything was in shades of grey.
That's where I came from. The closest we came to expressing happiness was a pale shade of off-white: this was everything I had known. Things seemed pixellated, washed out, from another dimension. One could never really be there. Could this be called life?

I had to give them another chance, my darlings. I couldn't let them grow up the way I had, in that trapped existence.
And that's how I said goodbye to them. One by one. There were five in total.

I don't know how many made the journey safely. I don't know what happened to them when, if, they arrived.
I don't know, and I will never know.

But the hope is there, and that's what keeps me going.

(hey guys..sorry I haven't been on..this computer is sometimes working but doesn't let me on the internet very often. I'm surprised I was able to get on and type this. I don't want you to think I just up and left but it seems that way. I'm sorry if anyone is mad at me and I understand if the Deputy needs to be replaced (prefered by BB since she was Leader but any of the originals will work but it's up to Crazy) Again I am sorry for not being on.
