Haha, we have a silkie, Puffball. She usually always lets us walk up to her and catch her. Well, one day it was raining and we free range during the day, when it stopped raining, we let the chickens out. Well, Puffball's 'puff' was soaking wet and stuck up on the top of her head. We could actually see her face for once. She didn't let us get anywhere near her! She got a piece of metal and we had to chase her down and take it, which took a while. I think silkies are average chickens, but they can't see well. When we call out "Puffball!" she hunches down and does the hen squat, so i think they rely on their hearing instead of their eyes and that is why they seem so dumb and clueless.

ya, you should see one run in the rain with out a crest trying to catch her to dry her up

she seem to forget about the fence post and the fence itself

I live pretty down south as well, and I sadly have a hick.

At times I talk with a British accent, but at other times ((Like when I mad

)) I get this weird hick.

Still though. A dog is normally associated with once being someone's pet, whether it was abused or not. Still sad you lost her though.
