Hello

Briar ran not caring where she put her feet.
What difference does it make I'll always be different no matter what.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Ohh look it's the feather footed Chantecler," her half brother sneered.
His friend hissed, "It must be a new variety."
A hen herded her chicks around her protecting her family from Briar.
"She weird mom."
"Yes that because she's a hybrid"
"Eww"
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Briar skirted around the tree feet flying. A few brambles got in her way but she continued shoving through them until she saw a river. She slowed down before stopping to get a drink. Seeing some weird creature by a rock hiding in the shadows she jerked he head up before continuing to run.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"That's it I'm through," she thought looking at the barn and the little hole where a few of her feathers hung blowing down to the floor being swept away by the wind towards the woods. Before spring off in another direction away from the barn and her family full of traitors with their clucking in her ears. Briar thought to herself, "They will wish one day that they didn't."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
She saw some chickens and tried to stop to turn around and go the other way but she only skidded into a tree, grumbling.

SickleClaws stared into the river, his expression blank and his eyes downcast. He'd somehow managed to sneak out of that strange camp without that crazy hen there to drag him back. Yet, anyway. Lost in an ocean of thought, he allowed the billows to pull him into his empty, cold little world of nothingness, the sounds around him blending together until finally waning. He didn't know where his loyalty lie, and where his destination was. More importantly, who was he?

The inferno screamed.
Long tendrils of licking flame threw themselves into the sky, roaring into the forest canopy as the flames wound higher and higher, an unending, deadly dance. Yet it wasn’t just the fire. Chickens darted in all directions, calling out for loved ones and desperately charting their own escape through the consuming walls of flame. Heat rolled in waves, and the sky was suddenly hidden behind a veil of impeccable smoke.
In the middle of the blaze, Silvermist stood. Her yellow eyes took the scene in with an unbelieving gaze, turning on the spot, trying to focus. But all was chaos. The medicine den, the plants around the leader’s rock, the dreaming oak . . . they were all blackened timber and ashes, a dark remnant of what had been.
A silent cry echoed in Silvermist’s throat as she stared, horrified, at the dying camp.

Then suddenly she was awake.
Heavy gasps tore through her chest as she opened her eyes. Cold beads of sweat dripped from the end of her beak, mingling with the dust below. With a painful sigh, she turned and propped herself up on her hocks, quavering slightly, but managing to stay upright. It had just been a dream, all a dream. Silvermist closed her eyes, and took a deep breath.
It was just a dream.

"Silver?"

That same, warm and inviting voice broke the silence. From out of the shadowed entrance of the den stepped Wildheart, who took a moment to groggily rub a wing across his eyes to clear them after a long nap outside. "You're awake!" he said, clearly relieved. "Are you feeling all right?" he asked, gingerly walking toward her bedside.
