"I'm not even sure I know how to fight. I didn't grow up with all these threats around, like the owls," she admitted.

"I am from the nearby city. My owner ran a small farm before he passed away," she said with a sad look in her eyes. "He treated us all beautifully. But having left the farm to his son, we found ourselves neglected and half-hungry all the time. So I ran away."
