First timers with 4 chicks: 55 Swedish x3 and a partridge Brahma x1. I never realized how relaxing it is to just to watch them. The 55s are supposed to be 10 weeks and Brahma 8 weeks. I got them from a local farm 5 weeks ago they’re bigger fast as you can see:

initially excited for egg laying as there’s nothing on earth like a fresh egg, but they are the best and most relaxing thing to watch for me. I don’t mind the extra work, gives me something relaxing. Being a nurse during this pandemic I need all the help I can get relaxing. I’m a bit concerned the Brahma is a roo only because I can’t keep him in my area and what a doll! The farmer will take him back if he is, but I’d surely be sad as what a friendly breed. Love my 55s too...they’re supposed to be auto sexing but I wonder about one as a bit orange in the comb. Any opinions welcome!
