Deepstar was slightly confused but tried not to let it show. “Um, we’ll yes I, I suppose you could.. say that.” She replied, glancing again toward the Icewing as he snorted. “My father is part of the Royal guard.” She said with a hint of pride, but quickly angled her eyes downward submissively again."Ah. Apologies." Fae cleared her throat, motioning for Deepstar to take a seat in the small throne across from her. "So. You are from... The, uh, lower, lower ranking SeaWings. Correct? I mean this in no disrespect, absolutely none at all."
Leif snorted from where he lay slouched in the throne, one talon covering his eyes, his limp tail swishing silently through the air.
"Ignore him." Deepstar glanced up at her, then down at the floor before glancing up again. “Well, your majesty, I, I suppose they are quite..um..angry, with the Icewings that is. And some have been saying you’re not of Royal Seawing blood. Most of the talk around the pearl farms is of war with the Icewings, they say you might not be as just as should be considering our unguarded villages surrounding the palace were attacked by enchanted Icewing soldiers.” She said, trying hard not to bare her fangs in anger at the Icewing who was looking possibly guilty or worried. “Is there anything specific you would like to know Queen Fae?”"Ignore him." Fae ordered annoyed with the Prince.
Leif chuckled quietly, the breathy laughter echoing around the silent room.
"Tell me Deepstar, what are dragons saying? What are they scared of? Are they scared of the IceWings? Are they scared of me? My palace is full nobles and soldiers, none of whom would dare speak against my authority. But... I want the truth. Your positioning of an Advisor has been kept secret. My inside dragon." Fae smiled sweetly, looking truly beautiful, her scales green shimmering in the light. "So," she continued eagerly, "tell me. Everything. What goes on outside of my palace?"
"Is there a particular group causing this?" Fae questioned, gently.Deepstar glanced up at her, then down at the floor before glancing up again. “Well, your majesty, I, I suppose they are quite..um..angry, with the Icewings that is. (I can't. I just can't."Is there a particular group causing this?" Fae questioned, gently.
Leif yawned noisily, repositioning himself on the throne. He began humming an old tune to himself, clicking his right talon against the throne along with the song.
"IceWing," Fae snapped, straightening suddenly, "shut up."
The song ended abruptly as Leif sighed, placing his talon back over his eyes and slumping into the throne with an air of boredom.
Deepstar flinched slightly at the sudden movement. “No, no.” She answered, tucking her wings in so the odd specks of bioluminescent markings that didn’t turn off wouldn’t be seen by the queen. They looked like stars in the sky just before it’s truly dark out."Is there a particular group causing this?" Fae questioned, gently.

"D-huh," Leif half scoffed, half snorted, sitting up slowly. "I would never, goof."Deepstar flinched slightly at the sudden movement. “No, no.” She answered, tucking her wings in so the odd specks of bioluminescent markings that didn’t turn off wouldn’t be seen by the queen. “I’m sure if you were to prove yourself a just and good queen, most if not all rumors could be proven otherwise.” Deepstar then lifted her head a little higher, turned toward the Icewing and waited until he lifted his talons so their eyes met. “They want justice.” She said slowly. “My little sibling is dead because of his tribe, killed without remorse.” She said pointing a shaking talon toward the Icewing, holding back tears.
