Leif exhaled with relief, feeling tentatively around his eyes. He dragged a talon down his face, sighing heavily. "Reveal yourself." Of course it didn't work. Leif fumbled for Brightscales. His talons closed around her neck. "Let's try this again." Leif cleared his throat, squinting. "Reveal yourself or she dies."
