Wings of Fire ~The RP: The Three Continents

Venom’s eyes flew open alertly and she listened for a moment. There! Two voices caught on the cool wind again, the sound reaching the WebWing queen’s ears. Quickly, she looked around, and spotted a white and a blue dragon. *A LightWing and a weird-looking FlashWing.* She thought with alarm. She glanced around quickly, but there was no where to hide LightWings and. FlashWings were both formidable dragons, and their white fire breath and electricity powers could strike further than her stingers. She was in trouble if they were foes.
She glanced back up at them. They seemed to be alone. *Maybe they have an affair,* She wondered with distain.
She lifted her wings, and began hurriedly flying away, hoping to reach the hidden trapdoors before they spotted her.
"Oh, my." Fae clicked her tongue, "what do we have here?"
Leif's brow shot up. "Wow," he whispered.
Fae caught his gaze with a look of intrigue. Leif grinned and the siblings loped down the cliff, catching the air mid jump, making their way to the strange new dragon.
"Hello?" Fae greeted, uncertainly. Did they even speak the same language?

Venom turned around at Fae’s greeting. So they were friendly. Her four amber eyes studied the pair intently. The LightWing didn’t radiate warmth or light, but instead had a chilly presence and spikes on his neck. Odd.
And the FlashWing.. obviously wasn’t a FlashWing.

(I imagine her to have just the slightest Russian/Scottish accent 😅)
“What ARE you?” She said, looking Fae over with a confused expression. “A skinny, rare blue LavaWing? Or a deformed FlashWing?”

Effie was by the river. It was her favorite place to be, especially after a performance, like the one a few hours before. Dancing was once a hobby, but now it became her job. Not that she didn’t enjoy it, but it just could sometimes be tiring. Effie often wanted to go to Pyrria, but her job always kept her back.
Suddenly the FireWing started singing.
“Starry night sky,
way up up so high,
And me down here far below
I’ve no place to be
I’ve no place to go
I’m just out here all alone
Should I go over to Pyrria ,
Up to the sand kingdom ?
Or should I settle down and stay right here ?
Or fly far off away?
Big bright moon
You show no gloom
But why am I so sad?
So many tribes
So many places
Bun not one can I roam
Should I become the lead of my small group
Of dancers not like me
Or should I go explore the big wide world
Or maybe just be me!”
Effie lifted off into the sky and headed towards the ocean, where she would be able to see Pantala, and kept on singing, but much louder.
“ I don’t need ember scales
Or burning claws
Or fire breathing powers
I can leave this home
And go somewhere
Maybe then I will be free!”

"Maybe." Cyprus replied over his shoulder as he turned north.
*I might just have to do that.* He thought.
Condor flipped backwards with a salute, turning upside down, arcing through the air like a leaping dolphin and started flying in the direction of the fortress. She needed to find Queen Raptor and figure out what the next move was. She only looked back once at the green shape beating away.
With powerful wingbeats the sandy rose colored dragon quickly made her way across the desert, catching herself a few lizards on the way back. She landed in the barracks and got herself cleaned up.

Ivory had no reason to stick around, so she wandered off a ways before leaping into the air and winging away. She realized Paradise had disappeared, and debated going to look for him. She weighed the options for a few moments, reasoning that he must be fine and would probably want to be left alone. Ivory landed in the RainWing camp, exhausted. Her fellow RainWings were mostly napping and talking to one another, a few selling fruit in shows of shifting colors. She found a quieter corner and lay down in the shade, covering her head with her wings and closing her eyes.

Raptor turned with an annoyed retort on her tongue, but some nagging thing in the back of mind stopped her from saying it when she saw Aloe. She still didn’t get why her conscious didn’t let her kill the two dragonets, but she couldn’t bring herself to do it for some reason. “Funny how you call your brother ‘the animus’.” She snarked instead. “Gila. And no, I don’t know where he is.” She landed on a balcony ledge and strode towards Fen- her royal chambers. It was still hard to get used to the idea that she owned the fortress now. “I tried to get him to make a spell to stop Leif, but he’d disappeared. Your sister doesn’t know where he is, does she?”

“Oh, Leif?” Raptor said, taking off her light grey cloak, which was torn and bloodied from the war. She pulled her dagger from her ankle sheath and started cleaning it on a clean part of the cape with a slightly annoyed mutter. “I would’ve believed they killed him had I not seen him disappear in front of my eyes.” She snorted. “And hopefully I never do see him again. Arrogant charming murderer.” She cleared her throat loudly, realizing she’d said ‘charming’ aloud. “You know where Gila is?” She said, trying to change the subject. “I need to have a word with him about his little disappearing act.”

Raptor snarled and stepped forward. “Gila..” she rumbled. “How the blazing suns can that thick iceberg force you to do anything? You’re an animus! You’ve got protection spells!” She tapped his one gold earring rather roughly. “And if you don’t, make some!” She snarled, shoving her dagger back in its sheath with a jerk. “A SeaWing, some random LeafWing, and some NightWings stopped him! And from what I know they’re not even animuses! Why the flaming suns did you run?”

The spells Gila has on right now are a protection spell on a earring from harm and a spell to make Raptor love him and his sisters as her own dragonets. He made one protecting himself from Leif’s spells but it got crushed on his ear. And he healed his ear.
After she had rested for awhile, Condor sailed down to the queens chambers. She stopped in the door way where the Queen and the others stood talking, waiting. She wanted to be as useful as possible.

"Oh, moons," Fae whispered.
"Holy eyeballs." Leif agreed.
"LavaWing. FlashWing," Fae echoed, debating how much she should tell this dragon. This was their source of knowledge, and if she responded poorly to the truth, they could always kill her. "We are travelers from a foreign land. We mean no harm."
"Or do we." Leif quickly added, giving the strange looking dragon a goofy grin.
"Shut-" Fae cleared her throat rather viciously, "shut up. We don't. Mean any harm."
Leif smiled cooly, as Fae rolled her eyes.

(Sorry for the late response!!)
