Wings of Fire ~The RP: The Three Continents

Venom growled. “I’d like to kill that fish-dragon myself. She’s our only way back, and I hate being stuck in the middle of this.. den of miscreants.” She sniffed haughty. “Let’s go get her guards to tell us where she is, they have to know something.”

“Nothing much.” Nuri said, turning towards him with a smile. “Do you have any plans of your own?”
There’s…something else your majesty.” Aphono continued. “Fae can….change herself, I saw it with my own four eyes. She changed herself into a dragon from another tribe and then back to a Seawing.”
Pyla sat back down, and ate the rest of her food. Nikki followed her, and ate her fruit.
“Is everything alright?” Mavros asked after they had finished their food.

Tawny smiled shyly, "I don't got nowhere to be..." she trailed off. "Yeah let's walk, 'this guy you know,' sounds like he might get into trouble and might be needing my expert medical talent." she decided in a slightly awkward attempt at conversation. Oh goodness, what am I getting myself into? I wish Chinook was here. she thought. A wave of homesickness washed over her as she sighed sadly.
Aloe hobbled through the crowd, keeping her head low to avoid recognition. A few dragons had already stopped her to alert her of her uncanny similarity to Princess Aloe and she had proudly told them she was Princess Aloe and walked away. But now she just wanted to find Ruewen. No time for showing off.
"Tawny, you live here?" Aloe shouted over the crowd.

The SeaWing guards stood in a tight circle, waiting loyally for Fae. A few curios SandWing's gathered around them, laughing and cracking crude jokes. Some soldiers laughed. The others looked worried.

Venom growled. “Ridiculous magic dragon.” She stalked to where her and the SeaWing guards were waiting. She fronted them and the odd hybrid with a snarl. “What is Fae up to?” She yelled at them. “Why did she bring us here?”

The Captain of the Guard stepped forward, dipping his head. "I know nothing, your majesty. My Queen has not shared her wishes nor left me with instructions."

"No, I am just visiting my father." Tawny called from behind Aloe. She shuffled behind her nervously. This many dragons made her scales crawl and she shuddered. She craned her head over the crowd to try and find her father.

Venom growled. “Well you should find out, because she’s gone. Do some.. SeaWing magic, or ask these sand dragons where she is.” She huffed, hating this situation immensely.

Aphono walked around the group to the otherside, stopping beside Poseidon. They had formed a friendship on the long journey to the scorpion den, one Aphono hoped to use to his advantage.
“Poseidon, my new friend, won’t you tell me why your queen has brought us here? Is it a trap? A scheme? She…she’s hiding something, even from you.” Aphono said in a quite voice with a trusting tone. Poseidon gave a nervous chuckle, looking around and stepping back once. “Honestly, Aphono I don’t know anything, she’s only been our queen for maybe a week or two. I don’t even know where she came from before that. I’m sorry I can’t help you.” He said nervously, as if any slip up might cause his death.
Aphono smiled, he knew this dragon was loyal but to whom he hadn’t found out yet. If someone had threatened him or even just asked like he had for information, he wouldn’t have given them any.
“Of course, just be wary.”

"So where you from then?" Aloe questioned, squinting ahead to where a small crowd of gold and red dragons had gathered. She quickened her limping pace, hoping Tawny would keep up. Tawny seemed shy, but she had helped Aloe. Ruewen would have something to repay the little SandWing.

"Um." Tawny started, should she tell Aloe? She seemed nice but could she keep a secret? "Well, I live in a hut by the ocean with my brother." she mumbled scrambling to catch up with Aloe. "Well, I did." she corrected herself. "I don't think you should be moving this fast with your talon like that." she called ahead.
