Winter Delight

I've been told that fresh goat milk - like, straight out of the goat kind of fresh! - is good for them and can actually help to prevent coccidia. I give mine a bowl full as a treat every week or so and they go WILD for it!!

OK, I feed my crumbles and water in the coop. But when I have messy leftovers and yogurt, I feed as a "treat" in the run. Come winter, do you serve your "messy" oatmeal in the coop? If so, does it cause a problem with the shavings? This is my first year w/chickens

I know when i give mine mashed potatoes or or oatmeal, there is NOTHING left in the bowl. Nada...I wonder if they can actually lick the sides of the bowls? They are CLEAN lol
