winter eggs

With absolutely no scientific evidence to support me, I put them in the fridge -- or if I think they are just incredibly cold and not completely frozen, I eat them as soon as possible.
 
another question about winter chickens. I am thinking of adding to my flock. If i do and keep the chicks inside for 6-8 weeks, will they be able to go outside in February cold. I'm in mass we can be -10 some nights in February. Do the poults have enough feathers at 8 weeks?

Poults are baby turkeys.
I would not try to integrate any kind of new birds/chicks in the middle of winter.
Wait until spring and think about doing this:
