Winter Gardens/ Greenhouse!

Thank you. I appreciate the advice, I will try that. What all do you have growing right now?

Cauliflower, cabbage, tomatoes, peppers, carrots, lettuce , onion and sage. And some fruit trees.
It still gets to freezing here , so its hard.

I don't have pictures of everything.

Tomatoes are spoiled plants, esp when grown in a greenhouse, is that what you’re saying?

Hungarian heart tomatoes

Those have been one of my BEST producing tomato varieties.

What are some good ones to leave in the greenhouse all summer, if any? Like I said I’ve never used one and am used to container gardening outside all summer.

I left a pair of tomato plants in the greenhouse all summer one year. They did VERY poorly because it just got to bleeping HOT! If you do leave some in there, you need to be able to get a lot of airflow to cool it off.

Yes!

For being cold still you’re having wonderful luck! Is onion hard to grow?

Yes onions are very hard!
I have had no luck. One sprouted so we shell see.

You have to leave the greenhouse open.
That what I do. When it rains I close it.

Thank you good to know on both of those! I’ll have to take it day by day assessing the greenhouse veggies and see what happens. I’ve already found it to be so much warmer in there than outside.

oooh you have to keep us updated on the onions, I’ve never had luck either. They never get big for me before dying. I was super excited to see some of my flowers sprouted today!

Yes, I will!
3 onions sprouted but only one lived.
I have only had luck with green onions /chives.
I still got some flowers from last year!!

I grew this sunflower! I lost count of how many seeds it had!! Over 10,000!!

Woooow! These are amazing! I am praying for some flowers like yours. In fact I think I planted some of the same types as you have there. What an incredible sunflower!
