winter hatch

my incubator is good for small hatches- sometimes if I want more chicks I make 2. I try not to put more than 9 eggs or so in- are you going to use your eggs or shipped eggs?

I will probably use my eggs first; but after I put my roosters in with my hens. I acquired the roosters recently and I am treating them in a separate pen before I introduce them to the hens.

I tried to send you this note in a message- but I don't know if you got it because the message I sent I could not review it on my end..

I am not sure what your temp is in your house it should be 70, and the incubator is best on counter- I could not do this at my house because I had no counter space. and my floor was cold. I put it on cushions and wrapped a blanket not blocking air holes, or at least slot the lamp is in... see the clamp part hanging out?

anyway I added more airholes at hatchtime (after day 18) as well.
