I appreciate all the answers and now know how to post a question!
I have a wooden bar in the coop to roost on, but they prefer laying on the plywood above the nesting boxes. Sometimes I have gone out and they are on top of coop laying on the roof. I will enclose it, and still have the heat lamp (unless hubby thew out) I used when they were babies. Again many thanks
